Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make an appointment?
You can contact me via email or phone. Please include your name, insurance type, availability. I will return your call ASAP. Appointments are not guaranteed and availability will be assessed at the time of contact.
What should I expect?
Therapy is voluntary and catered to your individual needs. Goals for treatment are developed together. No surprises!
Do you take insurance?
Yes, I currently accept BCBS, Tufts Commercial/Public, Cigna, Aetna, MBHP, Optum, Beacon and Out of Network.
What is Out of Network?
Some insurance companies will allow you to see a therapist outside of your approved network. If you choose this option, you will be responsible for paying the full fee. You will then be given a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. *Be sure to call your insurance to confirm that out of network is allowed and at which rate they will reimburse you*
Can I be located in another state?
Currently I am licensed in MA and NH, but am able to see clients via telehealth in Florida. http://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth.
Do you have a sliding scale?
A sliding scale is offered depending on availability and individual circumstances. Please contact me for more information.
What are your fees?
Depends if you use insurance. Clients are responsible for any existing deductible and ongoing co-pay. I can help you acquire this information from your insurance if you are uncertain of your benefits. To inquire about out-of-pocket and sliding scale fees, please contact me for more information and to check availability.
What Groups do you have currently?
