How often do you laugh? Have you lost interest in things? Is life boring? Do you find it difficult to see the bright side of each situation? Are you in need of a refresher for your "tool box" of coping skills?
My treatment approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, positive psychology, and much more. I also provide perinatal mental health counseling for both pregnant and postpartum individuals and/or their family members.
I believe that the mind and body are connected. In order to reduce the stress on either, we must raise our awareness and practice self-care through skills such as gratitude, empathy, and of course humor.
